So if I could ask this, why didn't they just re-open the old Razz up? That would have been better than the whole thing going down.

^It is my understanding that one of the reasons they changed to the newer Razz because there was so many users that the server could not handle it because of the board's format.

This sucks! I mean they could of at least had it archived. I had so many things I wanted to paste and copy--I had just gotten started, and then the next day it was gone! Especially there were A LOT of helpful topics on ChickClick that I didn't even know existed until it closed. Man, this sucks, but we have no say in it so I guess it doesn't matter. I can keep saying "I wish it were archived" but it obviously isn't going to be so I guess I should stop complaining. Anyhow it DOES suck. BIG TIME!

I was just thinking...maybe we could create our own Razz archive! I know there are people out there who copy-pasted stuff from Razz and CC and saved it to their computer. Maybe we could create a site for our own reference, and gather together everything that we can. Maybe, if we were REALLY nice, we could e-mail some people from Snowball and see if they can give us some of the CC articles or Razz posts, whatever they still have, as text documents. I know it takes a lot of room to host that, but just as text (without graphics and the whole webpage) it's not that big (this especially goes for the CC articles). Or what about the people that worked for CC? (Maureen?) I wonder if they still have access to the content. Or maybe we could get permission from Snowball to republish the articles on a new site we create, but credit them (with the copyrights and such). What do you think? Does anyone know the e-mail addresses of the people that worked for CC, at Razz?

Actually, I thought of that exact thing since I have some pages of Razz saved. But I emailed a whole bunch of people at Snowball about two weeks ago and so far have gotten no response.

Maybe we should put together our own private site (ask around on different boards for contributions of what they have saved). The Snowball thing may not work, but if we include a copyright notice with all our collections, maybe it would work

Yeah... I think I'll start that.

Well, I have a couple pages saved from Razz. Although they are fairly personal to me, but I will post them on a Angelfire site and show it to all of you when I am done.
