I look up to my two cousins, Alicia and Natalie. They're sisters, and they're the coolest people! And also my cousin Anna. I only see her once in a while though, because she's going to college at the University of South Dakota....which is pretty cool. ;D Sarah121 reminds me a lot of my cousin, Anna. Which is really cool, too.

Besides Al Gore, like I said before, heh...
I honestly look up to a lot of people I come in contact with. I believe all who surround us change and affect us in some way. Teachers, friends, parents... They all make us who we are. Look for the positive qualities in everyone, and appreciate them. That's how I try to go through life, instead of just looking at one person.

People I know personally who I look up to:
My best friend, for being so sweet MJ, for being so strong Christian, for having some remote understanding of me
And there are others that I look up to for random things that happen, but those are the major ones.
People I don't know personally (I have spoken to most of them before, but I don't necessarily know them that well):
Jana and Star, for being so knowledgeable and empathetic Brooks Brown, for willingly sharing his information with anyone who asks--unselfishly (unlike Nate Dykeman...gaw) Valeen Schmurr, for not taking away the fame and supposed martyrdom of Cassie Bernall when she easily could have gotten the fame herself--I respect that a lot. Rachel Joy Scott, for having been the kind of person that the world needs more of...someone who no one can ever be like again.
Two people I'm not going to say for fear of getting jumped by you all (heh, I'm sure you've guessed). Not for what they did, but for their thoughts.

lots of people......TONS OF PEOPLE...but at the moment i'm going to be petty and lazy and mention one WAYNE GRETZKY one of the most patient, kind, caring, talented, humble individuals in today's sports world, this man is AMAZING! he gives to countless charities, and never advertises about it. and he's just AMAZING (i just had to mention that again) at hockey. woooohaa! as a true oilers and rangers fan........i have yet to see someone play that well, and be that focused! *~pobo-loves-HOCKEY

Even though she's "famous", and I normally don't look up to famous people, I admire Michelle Branch an incredible amount. She's real...her music isn't overprocessed, and she stays true to how she wants to dress, write, and sing. She writes all of her own songs, and she's an amazing individual. She has the kind of talent you don't see too often anymore.

I look up to a lot of people:
C & V- my best friends S- even though i fight with her all the time and I haven't been friends with her for a while, when I was, she helped me through a lot of stuff and i admire the way she handle some things that she went through My grandpa- even though he died 5 years ago, because of a brain tumor, he was strong throughout all of it and set an example for our family My cousin Joey- he has to be one of the funniest people I have ever met, and I admire him for that, cause even during sad times he'll fine something to be happy about
I also admire Michelle Branch- her music is real and I can really understand it Faith Hill- even though she doesn't write her own songs, she has an amazing talent of showing you the emotion of the song and I can't wait to get her new cd Cry...

I look up to my Lord, Jesus Christ, and God, because I love them more than I love anyone. I look up to Maya Angelou. Her poetry is the best. Some ex. I also admire Maya for all the accomplishments she has overcome. She has lived through the great depression, a Christian, lived in a segregated town, and has spoken against many things. I also admire the US soldiers for fighting for our country, no matter how scary it is. They're fighting for us, and I admire them for that alone! Some other poeple I admire is my mother, Langston Hughes, my grandmother, Harold, Cory, Summer, and various others. I agree with you! Michelle Branch is an amazing person, and her voice isn't fake and she can actually sing well.

Natalie Portman- she is such a great girl and a great actress. she would rather get an education than be a movie star. i admire that, plus i want to be just like her when i grow up, an actress and very educated. sometimes you can have everything! plus she handled all those rude comments made to her with grace in midde school.
Michael Jackson- he has endured so much criticism (WHICH IS COMPLETELY UNJUSTIFIED) and he loves children. he is just such a beautiful soul, and i admire him for standing proud through everything.
