A 'view' is when someone just looks at the thread and doesn't post anything. A reply is when someone posts a message on a thread. ~*Esther*~

<<I have my usual smiley ) in my signature. However, if I choose to add any smileys in my message, it shows up with a big, stupid-looking popping-eye smiley and a parentheses. How do I disable smilies in just my signature? >> Above the POST button, there are two boxes you can check. If you would like to be notified of replies to the particular topic, check the first one. If you want to disable smilies, check the second box. <<I tried putting on my own pic and it won't let me! HELP! >> Make sure you've checked the box that says: I have my own pic. If the picture is on a webpage alongside other pictures, it won't work. You need a picture that's on a blank page. Other than that, you should have no problems.

Actually, if you right click the picture and click properties it will give the the direct URL of the picture and you can use that.

I tried putting on my own pic and it won't let me! HELP!Where is it uploaded to? A lot of webhosts don't allow direct linking, and as a result, the picture will show up an an "x". Try uploading it to www.boomspeed.com They allow it.

<<how do u make a signature? i cant figure out how to do it.>> Click on the Profile button on the top of the page. <<hey how do you do those words that scroll across the screen?>>
They're called marquees, and you need to insert HTML codes to use them and the other keys and fonts to jazz up your post. So if you wanted the word 'Marquee' to move across the screen, you'd put [m-o-v-e]M-a-r-q-u-e-e[/m-o-v-e], without the "-"s.
<<one more thing. how do you pm someone? and is it like im? i dont understand that.>> Click on the user's name, and their profile page will appear. Near the bottom of the page, it'll say: Click here to send this person a message. It won't be like Instant Messaging, it'll be like Private Messages at Razzberry.

From a few pages back: Why is that? I think that's an odd way of doing it... is there any possible way you can change it?

<<at razzberry i could never figure out pms either. so are they like just chatting? is it instant when a person writes you back? or is it like message boards?>> If you sent a PM to a user, it'd show up on the top of their page. The replying page looks a lot like the post replying page.
<<Why is that? I think that's an odd way of doing it... is there any possible way you can change it?>> I'm not sure about it. I noticed it also, but I figured it only showed up on the boards you Moderate. So any posts you make in the boards you are a Moderator of, under your username, your title shows up. I suppose if Midnight could change it, he would have, but you might want to send him a message or something.

No I can not change that. It makes sense when you think about it though. The title "Moderator" shows only on the board you moderate, but if it didn't it could confuse some users when they saw you were a mod (they might PM you for a lock topic request when you could not lock topics on that board).
