Mabye my glasses are going bad, I dunno. But there's something I'm just not seeing. How long is a ban?

The length of a ban is determined by the Administrator. It can be anywhere from a few days as a warning or one can be permanently banned from coming here again.

Just wanted to add....on razz I was banned without a warning or being told why. What's the policy on letting people know why and second chances and such?

It depends how serious your actions are. Most of the time, users are banned for endless flaming and personal attacks, but they are usually given a few warnings first. You will be notified by the Admin/s, by request, if you would like to know why you were banned.

Ok the only thing is that people who have high speed internet doesn't there isp addy change each time that they get on? j/w Sorry about the one year delay on getting an answer. It depends. By default most high speed services will give you a new IP# each time. Some dial-up services also do similar thing as this. AOL, for example, gives the user a random "fake" IP# on each sign-on, and I think that MSN also does a similar thing. Of course though a person can always download a utility that gives them a set IP#, but most people who do this use their machine as a server.
