Whenever I read a teen magazine I don't feel bad about myself or whatever because personally I think the models they have in those magazines are ugly. But that's just me. And the clothes that they call trendy aren't what's the in style down here. I personally think they're clothes are ugly too. But I do like reading their stories. They are very entertaining.

I have learned that anorexia is bad and that you can be beautiful for whatever weight you are. But then I turned the page and saw a model that weighed three pounds, and I got depressed again.
That was sarcasm, sorry. I am sick of hearing teen magazines preach about diversity while not including it themselves. I saw one article that had supposed plus-sized fashions, and these girls could not have weight more than 130 pounds. They were pretty tall, too.
I weigh 117 and am 5'3", and I consider myself a good weight.
Honestly, I had a subscription to Teen Magazine so that, once a month, when it came, I had a nice, long, laugh.
But, I know that, unfortunately, a lot of people DO think the way they write in the magazines. If they didn't, people wouldn't be buying them like they do.
I have come to realize that it's not the media's fault that people are the way they are--it's people's fault the media is the way it is. The majority of mainstream media is made to appeal to your average person.
