one of her friends had gotten her clitoris peirced...ugh that is so gross to even think about!! NASTY!!!
What she probably has pierced is the clit hood (the fold of protective skin over the really sensitive part). Actual clit piercings are rare, hard to talk a piercer into, and high-risk (no sensation after in a sizable chunk of cases). I have my hood done, and it wasn't embarassing at all. The guy who did it had probably seen as many vaginas as my gyno, and that wasn't even an issue. It was, by the way, the all-time least painful piercing I've gotten, and everyone I've talked to with one said pretty much the same. My belly button was way worse.
I'm not so sure what to say about the "gross" and "NASTY" comments other than to grow up a bit.
Nipples are supposed to be the most painful (in general).

I heard getting your nipples pierced is actually a good feeling, releases some chemical into your body or something. (Don't think I'll ever try it out for sure, though.)
A clitoris piercing wouldn't be too embarassing if you were in a good enviornment. If you were getting it done by a professional in a clean, sterile enviornment, it would probably feel similar to a trip to the doctors office... Nothing to be ashamed of, they see it every day!

I've only got my ears pierced (lobes twice in each ear; cartiledge in left only).
I'd like to pierce something else, though. I'm just not sure what. When I was little, I always wanted my lip pierced. Hmm..

I never said it would be nasty or gross....cuz honestly..whatever floats your boat! Anywhoo I thought about getting my tongue peirced..but then I figured that since I wanna be a doctor it wouldnt be too comforting... As for the bellybutton...I'm still deciding... hehe ;D

Well, I think that it would be kind of gross to get anything pierced, and I'm not being immature about that. The thought of having something pierced through my skin literally disgusts me. And I don't think it's attractive either. But that's just my opinion, and I realize that other people disagree with me.

^^ There are, however, more reasonable, mature ways to express that than the one I was quoting...

bump!
and comments. i want to talk about pain. pain is your body's response to threat, a way of warning your brain that you could be in danger. i find if you supervise the infliction of pain, anticipate it, and have been giving it some thought, you can trick your mind out of feeling pain altogether. not that you feel nothing: it's not good or bad, necessarily... something i'd only describe as "beautiful". it's a mind game. as for clits, i've heard of people who can cum just walking with a clit ring. maybe urban legend, but i'm interested. btw, i've seen plenty of pictures of actual clit piercings, not just the hood. nipples, from what i hear, can be near orgasmic for a girl. i'm eighteen and tiffany is seventeen now, so we'll give it a year and when she turns eighteen, we plan on getting our left nipples pierced together. pain is an interesting thing, and so is body mod culture. damn, i've been so into body modification that i keep forgetting to register for selective services. we see my priorities. for the record, rooks are good piercings (top cartilagenous ear ridge)

[glow=pink,2,300]I have my belly button pierced as well, and *I LOVE IT* I love buying jewelry, 4 it. I think belly piercings, are sexy. I had to clean it 2 times a day, every day for 8 weeks or so. That part sucked. I didn't get any infection in my belly either. [/glow]

I want my tounge pierced soooooooooo bad! I can't wait to get it, but it won't be for a while, a year or so. Wait till I get my braces of - probably not till near the age of 17. My mom won't care so much then. In the mean time inbetween I plan on getting my ears double pierced. I had gotten that in 6th grade, but It closed. My mom doesn't have her regular ears pierced anymore, so soon she's gonna get that done - thats when I'll get my cartilage and double ear lobe piercings. I haven't told her about tounge plans - she'd flip. I don't want it done because everyone is doing it- but for some strange reason everyone is getting theirs done - mostly freshmen, which I am! It just seems cool though.
But the clit hood - does that hurt.

Does anyone know which hurts worst? Cartalidge (sp?) or just your ear lobe? i'm pretty sure cartilege hurts more than just a normal piercing, it also takes a lot longer to heal than a normal lobe piercing. however, everyone's tolerance and response to pain is different. my boyfriend (canola4life) got one of what is said to be the most painful ear piercings (a more uncommon cartilege piercing) and he said it was beautiful. so you know, everyone reacts differently. as he said in a post above, we plan on getting our nipples done together. so, after i'm 18, nipple ring here i come other than that, i have no/will not have any other piercings. nothing else really interests me except my eyebrow, and i don't think i want something pierced that's that public. unfortunately, people base a lot of their opinion on you by your appearance. *sigh*

hey, me again... now my lobes are pierced too, so i can answer the cartilage/lobe question. well, kinda anyway... the rook was done professionally but i did the lobes myself with a safety pin that was smaller than the cbrs i put in the fresh holes, so it took about two hours to get them in and that was defininitely painful to a degree. as for the actual pierce... in, out, in out, in, outpierce! breathing is an important part of how we respond to pain, i think. hmm... i really can't answer your question, now that i think about it, because i don't seem to respond to pain like a lot of peopkle in this thread do. i apologize for any typos, as i'm writing in black on a black background because of my windows desktop theme
