First of all, NO OFFENSE because this is my opinion and everyone has different opinions about colours. It's a matter of personal taste. I don't think these colours look bad together. From a point of view of the colour spectrum, GREEN goes well with GREEN and BLUE is pretty close to it. Um, Midnight? These are the EXACT same colors that were here before. I only changed the stuff that was in red to a dark shade of green that matched what YOU had.
Why are you jumping all over this? You resigned from Admin, and gave all access to me, so if I want to change the colors, I feel that I should be able to.
And no, I didn't hold a poll. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal if I changed them. And I didn't even change them all that much. Like I said, just the red. It's still the same color scheme you yourself picked. What's the big deal?
Very true. If the majority of people don't like these colors, I'll be happy to change them. But so far, people have said this is an improvement, and I don't think they'd lie.

Hypocrism, pure hypocrism. Huh? I don't know who you're referring to, but neither Fyre nor myself are being hypocritical. On the contrary. You're being hypocritical by criticizing the colours, while they were your choice in the first place! (besides the red of course--and it's not hypocrism to say it was hard on the eyes and did not match!) |

But when I changed something without a poll, I got people on my back. But look at Fyre, no one's on her back for doing the same thing I did. You cannot tell me that's not hypocrism.

Oh, Midnight, stuff it. YOU calling someone a hypocrite? YOU calling someone a dictator?  No one is "getting on Fyre's back" for several reasons: 1)The colors aren't as goddamn ugly as the ones you had. 2)The changes Fyre made without polling the users are not at all similar to the ridiculous changes you made without any polls. Colors are not very important, when you put things in perspective. By the way, is it hypocrisy when a hypocrite calls someone else a hypocrite while being hypocrital? Love, ~Mike |

^ I feel you're making a big deal out of nothing. If Fyre wants to change the colours (thank God she did) its up to her. As Natalie said, if many members oppose to her decision then she'll take a poll.
By the way, the red was hard on the eyes.

Okay. Midnight, I do see where you're coming from. But Fyre is a very sensible person, not to imply anything, but I'm sure she considered the minority of the change. It's not something that needs to be drawn out into a 2-week-long poll. It's very simple--just do it. And if it's a problem, change it. Not too hard.
Maybe it's just me, but I haven't noticed anyone that has a problem with the colours or the fact that there was no poll other that YOU.

Midnight why make such a big deal over colors.... I mean c'mon COLORS! Personaly I don't care what colors the board is, I don't come to the board becuase the green and the blue go togther nicely and I don't not come here becuase "the red hurts my eyes". . I come here to state my opinoin on things. My opinion doesn't change with colors. So don't make this seem like a bigger issue than it is..... ummmm what exactly is the issue? Don't say the it's the colors not being pretty. why do we need a poll on colors? Why are theese damn colors sooo important? Can someone let me in on the secreat , becuase I just don't see a problem here exept for people overreacting.

Don't worry, you don't come off as overreacting. I THINK Midnight's the only one with an issue. His issue is that he thinks people are being hypocritical to change colours without a poll, whereas *whenever he did anything without asking, he got bitched at* (at least that's the impression I'm getting). I don't see what the big deal is either. Fyre doesn't need *permission*.

My gosh, I didn't know this would stir up a contraversy. I thought a small change would be nice. I could have changed *all* the colors completely, but out of respect for you Midnight, I kept the green and blue that you had, and only changed ONE thing. And that's a darker shade of something you already had. But yeesh, I'm sorry.  But so far, you're the only one to complain. If others don't like it, I'll be more than happy to change it to something else. But no matter *what* the colors are, somebody is bound to hate them. And to everyone that said they liked them, thank you.  |

I really love the colors. I think they're quite attractive and they really go together well. So far, everyone except for Midnight has liked the colors. That's definately the majority. I don't think holding a poll is necessary if almost everyone likes it. If you get a lot of contrasting opinions on it, then, of course, taking everyone's vote into consideration would be the best choice. Besdies, I don't really think the colors are that big of a deal. I doubt anyone will leave because the colors changed or anything to the like.
