Ugh... I hate Bush !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a democrat - hate republican ways ( no offense to anyone ) ! My favorite is Clinton. He actually did help the national debt. He was smart and I don't think it should really matter what he did in his affairs with Monica Lewinsky. What he did with Lewinsky had absolutely nothing to do with what he did with out nations problems. To Bush is an idiot and our current first lady looks way to average our first lady. I hate that Bush was the govenor of my state and now the leader of our county. I wish Gore would have been elected. I think he probably was Florida's vote at first. I think something rather fishy happened since Florida is Bush's brother state that he governs. I could go on give several valid reasons why Bush is an idiot. I can't wait for elections again, and hopes Bush sorry a** doesn't run again. Even if he did run again I don't think he has enough stamina to be re-elected. We need a democrat! Democrats are just so much more refreshing then stinky Rebublicans. Rebublicans leaders only look our for other Republicans interest and no one elses. Democrats wants to help all. Well I'm finish ranting about our current sorry ass president !!

Excuse me while I laugh. Ms. Thang, they are all out for their parties. Sounds like the democrats have done their job, as well as the media, from the way your post sounds.
Just for the record, I totally disagree with you (sorry, but I'm a republican)... Gotta go for the lesser evils and to me, Bush is a God send compared to Clinton.

HeyNowGirl:: Why the F**K are you laughing at me ? I think your the one who should be laughed at for believing in such stupid Republican ways. Shut the F**K up !!!
Most minorities, especially blacks, don't like Bush ! I know its african-ameicans fault that they didn't vote ! If majority of the blacks in the US would have voted, then Bush probably would not have been elected. But then again it doesn't really matter what the people what its the electorial college wants. Bush didn't win the people vote so if it was really based on what the our county wants, Bush WOULD NOT be president. And about the approval ratings, I'm pretty sure that they didn't ask that many minorities, or else the percentages would not have been that way.

HeyNowGirl:: Why the F**K are you laughing at me ? I think your the one who should be laughed at for believing in such stupid Republican ways. Shut the F**K up !!!I was laughing because you are so left wing, and you describe right wing beliefs as "stupid" and don't back up why you believe that way. And don't you ever tell me to "shut the F**K up" again. I don't have to. First amendment privileges, remember? Or were you gone that day in your history class? And try to be a bit more respectable, esp. when you are saying how my beliefs are "stupid". All you are doing is proving my belief that it's a smart thing that the voting age is 18 (some areas, 16 or 17) and in not letting 14 year olds vote. Esp. when they describe policies and parties as "stupid". And about the approval ratings, I'm pretty sure that they didn't ask that many minorities, or else the percentages would not have been that way.Do you know those vouchers that allow lower and middle income families to send their children to private schools? Well, my golly gee, those are a REPUBLICAN idea, and guess what? Over 70% of MINORITIES like that idea, while your wonderful DEMOCRATS oppose the idea, so they can send their children to private schools while the working class has next to no chance to get their kid in a private school. Nice, eh? Those wonderful democrats are at it again. And if petty's percentiles are from Reuters or the AP or some other place that is halfway respectable, you can bet your bottom dollar that many people of different races and classes were asked. As for the electoral college, here is why it was created (I am only posting the "bottom line", you can go to this link if you want to read the whole thing: www.users.bigpond.com/billmastermind/moments66.htm)*Note to petty: Please correct anything, this is not mine, and please feel free to add on, you are a well known history buff, whereas, I am not. "So the framers of the Constitution opted for the Electoral College system of selecting the President. It kept the Southern slave holding States happy because they had a good chance of choosing the President. It kept the small and remote States happy because they would certainly be looked after by any candidate who would need their Electoral Votes to win office. And it ensured that totally unsuitable candidates could be denied Electoral votes if necessary. This last consideration has never been tried. But there were strong suggestions that it would have been in the 2000 Presidential election if the U.S. Supreme Court had not intervened and prevented the State of Florida recounting all of the disputed votes cast in some of that States districts. One other thing that the Electoral College does is ensure that local politicians in every State have much more political power than they would otherwise have if it was merely a popularly elected President. The Electoral College enshrines Federalism with all of its positive and its negative factors. That’s probably the main reason that it survives in the U.S. It certainly doesn’t survive because most Americans understand it. They don’t. But now you do." All in all, the smaller population states would not have any voice in their choice of president, because by the time it got to mid/more-than-mid way through the country (going from East to West), the president would already be decided upon pretty much. I hope we all feel a bit more educated now.

Lets keep the personal attacks to a minimal.
<<Most minorities, especially blacks, don't like Bush ! >>
What vast vast generalizations. But, I guess you have to love plantation politics. Democrats have nothing good to offer, all they have is scare tactics.
I found it interesting that according to Zogby, 30% of Democrats support the re-election of Bush.
<<Bush didn't win the people vote so if it was really based on what the our county wants>>
Hate to break it to you, but the popular vote really doesnt mean much of anything, so it doesnt matter if he won it or not. Clinton never won a majority of the popular vote, in each election he only won the plurality.
<<And about the approval ratings, I'm pretty sure that they didn't ask that many minorities>>
Well you know, I tend to trust the Gallup polling agency more than I trust you in these matters. Those are as realistic of numbers as you are going to find.
<<Over 70% of MINORITIES like that idea, while your wonderful DEMOCRATS oppose the idea, >>
Exactly! But dont tell anyone!
And that sums up the Electoral College pretty good.
